More on the HOF voting 

Aaron Gleeman of the Hardball Times takes a lengthy look at a couple of HOF-related items...

First, a lengthy analysis of the Jimmy Kimmel/Steve Garvey article that I criticized earlier...Gleeman does a much better job of deconstructing it, and pointing out the flaws inherent in this sort of "I grew up watching him, so I know how great he is" type of argument.

Second, he takes a look at the ongoing Bert Blyleven/Jack Morris debate, and why so many writers seem to believe Morris was a better pitcher than Blyleven...

Very well-written, well-thought-out article, definitely worth a read...
